Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Fundación Rosario Gatón (FRG) continues to strengthen its institutional relationships in pursuit of sustainable solutions for national development. On this occasion, it held a high-level meeting with Eng. Bartolo, representative of the G7 of Argentina, and Lic. Elías, Director of the Department of Agriculture of República Dominicana. During the meeting, strategic issues related to international cooperation, boosting agricultural productivity, rural development, and strengthening food security in the country were addressed. Potential alliances promoting the use of technology, technical training, and sustainability in agricultural communities were discussed. This meeting aligns with Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal No. 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, as well as with the National Development Strategy (END) of the Dominican State. The foundation thus reaffirms its commitment to coordinating national and international efforts that contribute to the country’s economic, social, and environmental growth.
